The role of SERT

State Emergency Response Team is a division within the State Police that provides the State of San Andreas with a reliable Tactical unit to handle high risk situations such as: Search Warrants, Jailbreaks, Terrorist Attacks, Barricaded Suspects, Pacific Standard Bank robberies that normal Patrol officers are not readily equipped or trained to handle.
