A Firefighter is a rescuer extensively trained in firefighting, MVA scene control, natural hazardous occurrences and Rescuing people from dangerous situations.
A firefighter will constantly give Paramedics back up on calls, performing basic emergency medical care as well as looking for the safety of the Paramedics.
Firefighters perform tasks such as: Fight fires, extraction and triaging of patients from hazardous situations, conduct inspections on structures and locations for public safety, control traffic on medical and police scenes as well as conduct Search and Rescue along with Paramedics.
