SWAT is a division designed to bridge the gap between patrol and situations that require a more specialist mind set. Rather you be a door kicker, a strategist, or someone who prefers to assist SID in drawn out investigations into some of the city’s most deadly and dangerous gangs. LSPD SWAT has a place for you!
SWAT Tasks include – Search Warrants, Works Alongside SAMS for Fugitive Apprehension, Multi-Agency Crime Stop Ops, Barricaded Suspects / High risk Shootouts, Gang Neutralization Task Force, Working Alongside SASP’s SERT Team
