How to become a Realtor
The city is currently looking to have 10 Realtors – this may change in the future.
if you are interested in becoming a Realtor, your first step in the process is to take the Realtor License Exam – this is a 10 question test to see if you understand the basic legal implications and to demonstrate to us why you want to be a Realtor.
If you fail the exam, you will have the opportunity to take it again in 3 days time – To pass, you must get 3 out of the 4 technical questions correct and also be able to explain your reasoning for becoming a realtor.
When you have passed the exam, you will be invited to meet with a member of CALVIN to have an explanation on how to complete the tasks needed (paperwork etc) and for you to ask any questions. Finally if you decide to move forward, you will be provided with your ID, License and you will need to pay your monthly fee ($1,250)
